DJ Daeva | Norway
A wealth of sounds and movements from seven continents
Nasm, known as Daeva, is an Oslo-based DJ and artist born and raised in Tehran. For over 20 years, Daeva has had a prominent role on the club and festival scenes in Oslo, and has been heard at Cosmopolite at Torshov, Nobel Peace Center, Blå, Oslo Pride, the National Museum, Riksscenen, Oslo World and more. In addition, she has an increasing number of assignments abroad.
Rhythms travel the world much like humans do; they cross oceans, pick up languages along the way – and then somewhere they end up dancing together. Daeva invites the audience to a world of sounds and movements across all seven continents, so all you have to do is open your senses and get on the dance floor.
Daeva plays their set in the Library at Scandic, after a concert with the Malawian Gasper Nali Band. The concert has joint tickets, and runs parallel to Klubb komle on tour, which takes place at Larris Scene. The two stages are located 'wall to wall', so the idea here is that you should be able to walk from one to the other and back.
