By plane:

The airport in Førde will be closed from June 25th until the end of July due to asphalting of the runway. Nearest airport to Førde is FLORØ AIRPORT , which is about a 45 minute drive from Førde .

DAT flies directly (1h10min) between Oslo and Florø, and we are working to put in place a good airport bus service from the airport directly to Førde during the festival.

Førde has very good bus connections from both the north and south-east.

From Oslo: About 6 hours over Hemsedal, Lærdal, Skei.
From Bergen: Approx. 3 hrs. 1 ferry: Oppedal-Lavik.

By Boat/Bus:

From Bergen: You can also travel with Norled 's boats from Bergen city center to Lavik, and take a bus to Førde .
