Ingrid Sørheim | Norway
Toradar lovers from Voss
Ingrid is a folk musician on the dulcimer and works as a district musician and teacher in the large toradar community in Voss and Granvin. With a love for lydar songs, cheerful springers and English jigs - she fell in love with Celtic toradar music during her year on exchange in Newcastle - she has specialized in transferring Hardanger fiddle and fiddle songs to the dulcimer.
Ingrid plays in many different constellations, and is currently most active with Nortopia, Vesterveg and Veijr. Despite her young age, she is already at the top of the major league at Landskappleiken and is a sought-after instructor and concert player in Western Norway.
