Sindre & Co come from Osterøy, an area with deep roots in traditional music and a strong toradar tradition. The slaatste game and dance music that has lived through generations is a heritage that has shaped the musicians from a young age.
Musically, they draw inspiration from both older traditional sources and newer examples, from near and far. The repertoire ranges from songs by masters such as Sigbjørn Bernhoft Osa, Ola Mossafinn and Finn Vabø, to new material with a distinctly personal touch. The music is rooted in tradition, but in Sindre & Co's version it is both lively, playful and full of joy, whether they play for those who want to listen or those who want to dance.
