ACTIVITIES

Motanka dolls are made from various pieces of fabric, and are an important Ukrainian tradition. This photo is from a motanka workshop during Førdefestivalen in 2022.

At Bornas Verdsdag we have many great partners who will be providing great activities all day long. The activities are free to participate in, and you can visit them all day long. Here is an overview of the cool things you can try out this year:

FUN WITH SPAREBANKEN 1 PARAGON AND FJORDANE

In the foyer outside the theatre you will meet the bank's mascots, and you can join in on various fun activities with the people at the bank. Sparebanken 1 Sogn og Fjordane is one of the main sponsors of Førdefestivalen , and it's always nice to have them with us on Borna's World Day.

MOTANKADOCKS AND INTERNATIONAL CHRISTMAS DECORATIONS

At the library you can make duck dolls or nice Christmas decorations together with students from UWC in Flekke and people from the organization "Life will win".

MEXICAN MASKS, EBRU PAINTING AND T-SHIRT PRINTING

In the fireplace room - which is the room right down the stairs with the library, you can make beautiful Mexican masks, try your hand at ebru painting or print something nice on a t-shirt or something else you bring. These activities are done in collaboration with students from Førde VGS and Tuba Ardic.

GAMES AND TRADITION

On the mezzanine, straight up on the 2nd floor from the foyer , you can try your hand at traditional and exciting craft activities together with the creative people from Sunnfjord Museum.
