The second edition of RaspeKlubb is coming soon

This is Sunnfjord's version of the successes Tuvas Blodklubb in Oslo and Klubb Komle in Bergen, with danceable home cooking in a club format!

The concept draws full houses in the cities. It's a mix of a crash course in folk dancing and a club atmosphere on the dance floor – a whole evening in the company of good friends (that you haven't met yet).

This evening you can experience everything from pure Hardanger fiddle music, harmonica with effects pedals, accordion music you might not have known you loved, and a DJ with folk techno in his bag.

The evening starts with a crash course in folk dancing with Ragnhild who teaches you simple steps and turns that you can take with you into the club night. Or you can go out and dance just the way you want. You don't need any prior knowledge or dance partners.

Participating this evening are Synnøve S. Bjørset, Geir Marius Torud, Indre Sunnfjord spelemannslag , Even Westeng, DJ Sissyfus and Ragnhild B. Vassbotn.

RaspeKlubb is a collaboration between Førdefestivalen , Theatre Vestland and Indre Sunnfjord Spelemannslag .
The club on October 30 is also in collaboration with FolkOrg as part of the project “Dance as a social meeting place”.
