Borna's World Day Førde be postponed
Borna's World Day Førde is a collaboration between Førdefestivalen and Sunnfjord municipality, and the event was scheduled to take place on Saturday, November 14th in Førdehuset . Everything was ready and set with free mini-workshops and a free concert. When the government announced the tightening of the corona rules on Thursday this week, the festival staff conducted a thorough review and concluded with a postponement. - Although we feel completely confident that this year's corona-adapted version of the popular family day could be carried out in a safe environment, it was too much of a paradox to go out and invite young and old to Førdehuset at workshops and a concert a week after the Prime Minister asked everyone to stay home as much as possible, says festival director Per Idar Almås. -Consideration for volunteers, artists and the audience who will now follow Erna's advice, makes us see it as a better solution to postpone the event.
The Christmas concert Majorstuen - CHRISTMAS DREAM , Thursday, December 3rd, will go ahead as planned in the Great Hall in Førdehuset Tickets for the concert are available at fordehuset.no .
