Molsky's Mountain Drifters concert CANCELLED

The concert with Molsky's Mountain Drifters has been canceled. The American musicians have been forced to cancel their entire Norwegian tour due to the extraordinary situation we and the rest of the world are in.

Sunday, March 15th is the day for a reunion with Molsky's Mountain Drifters, the trio that in 2017 had the honor of playing their first official concert at LARRIS SCENE. It was an absolutely memorable evening, and now we can welcome both you and Bruce Molsky's trio back. And for those of you who haven't yet caught a concert with this great trio - here's another chance!

HERE you can buy tickets for the concert.

HERE is the concert on Facebook, if you want to share and bring more people to the concert!

Bruce Molsky, one of the most sought-after fiddlers from the USA, plays banjo, guitar and vocals alone or with musicians all over the world. In Norway, he collaborates with Annbjørg Lien and Ånon Egeland, among others. In the trio Molsky's Mountain Drifters, he cultivates his great love for the atmospheric and energetic folk music from the Appalachians, and delivers swinging good sounds that go straight to the heart!

In the trio he has brought along Allison de Groot, who also loves American "oldtime music". She is known for her two own groups, The Goodbye Girls and Oh My Darling, which have toured the major folk music festivals in Europe. Just like Bruce Molsky, she is hooked on collaboration, and on renewing and refreshing traditional expressions.

The third musician in the trio is Stash Wyslouch, a representative of the young generation in American bluegrass. He started his music career in metal bands, but soon found himself as a member of the roots band The Deadly Gentlemen. With eminent guitar playing and vocals, and a dose of punk metal in his blood, he adds an extra pulse to the trio.
