Welcome to day trip cabin concerts!

Multi-musician Stein Villa will hold concerts at three of the day trip cabins in the county in September.

We start the fall by inviting you to concerts at three of our day trip cabins, specifically in Førde , Sogndal and at Sandane (TIN-camp), September 22nd, 23rd, and 24th. The small tour with multi-musician Stein Villa is a collaboration with the Children's Hiking Association in the various municipalities.

Stein Villa is a well-established musician and educator who works daily at the Mjøsmuseet, where he is responsible for the traditional music archive. He plays everything from the harp and langeleik to the guitar and self-made flutes. For the day trip cabin concerts, he brings small instruments that have a connection with old farm life, and of course some of his large repertoire of song stubs and short stories.

The concerts are free, and start at 6:00 PM, and there will be a joint departure from the parking lot at 5:15 PM at all three locations, in collaboration with the Children's Hiking Association. As organizers, we will follow the infection control measures that apply at the time.

- Førdefestivalen "We are of course very happy to collaborate with the Children's Hiking Association, and we are also happy that the municipalities have supported the concerts," says director Per Idar Almås. He believes these can be very atmospheric hikes and not least concerts at dusk at the end of September.
