Knit with Førdefestivalen !

Knitting is more popular than ever, and even though Førdefestivalen We never thought we would make our own festival mittens, but we were a little taken aback when Heidi Aas, the knitting expert at Sybutikken on Elvetorget, made these beautiful mittens inspired by this year's festival poster! We think they're super cute, and now we've made the pattern available here on our website so you can download and knit your own festival mittens.

We would be super happy if you take a picture of the festival mittens you knit and post it on Instagram or Facebook - and tag them with #førdefestivalen and #festivalvott, so that we can see colorful mittens from land and beach!

Of course, we are fully aware that there is no need for mittens during the festival in July (although the July temperature in 2019 was not exactly to be praised), but it is nice to think that these nice festival mittens can keep your hands warm throughout the coming winter.
