Dance, dance, dance!
Since 2005, Polish-German music lover Darius Darek has been a professional DJ and has played concerts in what he calls global club music. He serves Afrobeat, Bollywood music, cumbia, reggae, Balkan beat, Latino ska, mestizo and polka.
Darius Darek is very creative and passionate about further developing the DJ profession and finding new ways to communicate music in a constantly changing music world. Today he is the leader of the organization "Taxi MunDJal MusiX" and he has been a driving force in the establishment of the "Global Club Music Network" - in November 2014 he opened the cultural boat Township in Bonn, a cultural arena for both concerts, discos and films.
Darius Darek has also received UNESCO recognition under the "UNESCO Convention on the Protection and Promotion of the Diversity of Cultural Expressions". This means that his work as a DJ helps to maintain the diversity of the world's cultural expressions!!
Darius Darek (PL/DE) is producer, DJ and host of "World Beat Party", "Gramophone Vibez - ElectroSwingParty" and "Silent Party" in Bonn, Germany. He is also artistic director & head of "Taxi MunDJal MusiX" and Co-founder of "Global Club Music Network", and he is the director of Township in Bonn. DJ support at gigs of: Panteon Rococo, Bob Dylan, Caro Emerald, ZAZ, Baba Zula, Shantel. Darius Darek's work is officially recognized as civil society contribution to the "UNESCO Convention on the Protection and Promotion of the Diversity of Cultural Expressions". This recognition inspires many clubs and festivals as well as official institutions and international conferences to book a "Darius Darek DJ Set".
