Britt Pernille Frøholm from Nordfjord is one of our leading folk musicians, who is also known for being a driving force for international musical collaborations in many formats and forms. At the heart of the folk music tradition she grew up with in Nordfjord, Frøholm has never been afraid to explore and use the Hardanger fiddle in new ways.
Britt Pernille Frøholm has played on both small and large stages indoors and outdoors, at home and abroad, but this is the first time she has held a concert at Spelemannsmyra in Oldeskaret, where Sunnfjorders and Nordfjorders used to cheer each other on in the past. This will be a special experience, both for the musician and for the audience who join the trip through the fjord that day.
