Kinnaris Q - Scotland

Scottish power group with a unique style.

KINNARIS Q is a real powerhouse of a quartet that creates new attitudes towards traditional and modern folk music. Their music is full of infectious joy and celebrates culture, community and the pure joy of creating music together.

The four in Kinnaris Q are true to their acoustic, traditional roots, while pushing the boundaries of innovation. With influences from all over the world, they create elegant and refined arrangements that are among the best you'll hear on the modern folk music scene in Scotland today.

All four members of Kinnaris Q are outstanding musicians and composers who have together created a signature expression. The music is created in an impulsive and instinctive way, with plenty of room for improvisation and creativity. Kinnaris Q simply has to be experienced in concert!

Kinnaris Q enjoy great respect and popularity among festivals, media, colleagues and audiences worldwide. In recent years they have collaborated with musical heroes such as Karine Polwart, Julie Fowlis, Dreamers' Circus and Frigg , and were guest artists in pop star George Ezra 's End to End documentary on Amazon Prime .
