Frid i skogen den grøne - Norway
Folk musical fairy tale about wishing for a friend
Have you ever ridden a dead moose hurtling through a dense spruce forest, branches hitting your face, cobwebs sticking to your arms, and the wind blowing your hair straight out? No? I thought so.
The fairy tale of Frid i skogen den grøne is written by Sigmund Løvåsen, and it is about traveling or fleeing from oneself in search of belonging. Frid is the friendless, impossible girl who deep down only wants a friend. The story of Frid is told through folk music, storytelling and dance in a fantasy world called the Green Forest.
Co-production between Margit Myhr , Riksscenen and Sprang - regional dance scene.
Margit Myhr – acting, dance, singing
Helga Myhr – composer and musician (Harding fiddle, vocals)
Sigmund Løvåsen – screenplay
Jimmy Meurling – director
