Experience the sleight of hand heritage of the great sleight-of-hand player Leif Rygg and driving sleight-of-hand playing from Voss and Hardanger!
In the first part of the concert, Steinar Rygg will give a concert lecture about his father Leif as a passionate fiddle player and environmentalist. At the concert, you can hear well-known pieces such as Bygdatråen, Lengt and Budeiene på Vikafjell – songs that were very central to Leif Rygg's repertoire.
The trio Ludo is responsible for the second part of the concert. They perform songs from Voss, Hardanger and Sunnhordaland. The melodies are arranged in a jazz harmonic landscape where the songs' uniqueness is preserved while adding new musical elements. Improvisation and energy are central to Ludo's expression.
