Family concerts at FolkJazzScena in February

Igor Dunderovic and his cousin orchestra have many funny stories in store about Mikkel Rev and Håvard Hedde.

Welcome to an energy bomb of a concert, where you will experience the well-known and beloved Norwegian children's songs and folk songs in a new guise! Ali Baba and the Little Lamb will be performed in Høyanger and Førde .

They are all there, Mikkel Rev, Bæ bæ lille lam, Håvard Hedde, Kråkevisa and many, many others. Our old acquaintances are ingeniously wrapped in new stories and accompanied by music that is a wonderful mix of Norwegian folk music and Balkan pop, and not least, they are served up by four sparkling musicians.

Igor Dunderovic and his "cousin orchestra" have used both self-irony and humor when they have written new stories in our most famous children's songs and folk songs. Different stories, because Igor and his musicians did not grow up in Norway, but in other countries. None of them grew up with Mikkel Rev, Lille Petter Edderkopp and Bæ Bæ Lille Lam. On the other hand, they know Lille Cesse Edhi Yerkov, Baba Lille Lam, and lille Lam Nam Ham from Vietnam. And in this concert, all these slightly exciting toddlers get to meet their Norwegian relatives.

Some of the musicians are real cousins, some are really funny, but all of them are really good musicians. You may have seen Igor and Elvis on Norwegian Talent, where they claimed that they were neither Norwegian nor talented. You may have also heard their Christmas hit from 2013: “I went across the sea and land, and I met a old man. You're not Norwegian, what are you doing here?” from the album Ali Baba and the Little Lamb.
