Førde Festival in prime time

-The opening concert has a fantastic artist list, professional production and the perfect hostess. At NRK, there has been nothing but enthusiasm in the process leading up to the decision to broadcast the concert to viewers in our very best broadcast time: Saturday evening on NRK 1.

In addition to coordinating the television production of the opening concert for NRK, Stian Sjursen Takle has another major task during the festival, a task that has become a matter of great importance to the popular presenter:
-It started a few years ago, we had an empty broadcast. The editor said to me: -Can't you make a program about the records that were released in our county last year? I imagined a small stack, but he put a whole load on my desk! -It's a challenge to be a musician in the district, explains Stian.

-The joy of showcasing our talented artists is a great motivation. -But the best thing is perhaps seeing how much the audience appreciates the experiences it gives them. I have received hugs from teary-eyed people I don't know. They can't find the words to thank me. I can be
so tired after weeks of detailed planning and demanding execution, but this means a lot to me! Then I'm immediately ready to take on new challenges, and I think the free concert in Førde The city center will involve many such new, good meetings between the public and artists .
- I would love to be an artist myself! It was a dream when I was little. I took organ lessons and stuff. But I didn't have enough patience, I'm afraid my talent wasn't great enough either, laughs the host. Who found another niche. The right one!
