Sigrid Moldestad & Liv Merete Kroken to Førde March 23

Thursday, March 23rd, the stage is set for a concert experience of the rarest in Førde . Then two of our finest fiddle players, Sigrid Moldestad and Liv Merete Kroken, will appear at a FolkJazz concert at Scandic Sunnfjort Hotel & Spa. 

Ever since they met as students in the first class at the Ole Bull Academy in Voss in the mid-90s, Sigrid Moldestad and Liv Merete Kroken have cultivated a passion for playing together. The chemistry between them was instant, and the "musical infatuation" has persisted, despite many years when work, children, family and other activities have meant that the duo venture has taken a back seat. As long as they have managed it, they have met and played, and each time they have felt the glow of the interaction flare up. As strong and as genuine as when they first met. 

It's not every year that Spindel duo can hold a concert, so we feel lucky to have been able to do this, and we of course hope that the audience will also appreciate a new meeting with two of our favorite ladies!
