For years, Thea Hjelmeland has been volunteering at Førdefestivalen - even after she moved away Førde , and established herself as an artist. And she has a great appetite for music from all over the world, something that is not least evident in her own compositions. In the midst of an intense creative period, she fortunately agreed to create a festival route for this year's festival. So here it is - Thea's marathon festival route.

-I have difficulty choosing from all the good concerts, so my route is a bit of a marathon! I would like to emphasize my absolute priorities; TINARIWEN on Saturday during the day, one of my favorite bands that I have been waiting a long time to experience! Then I am looking forward to an atmospheric church concert with "Bulgarian Voices Angelite" on Friday evening, and not least an Afro-Caribbean Saturday evening at Sunnfjord Hotell there Førde let loose and get sweaty and laughing on the dance floor! Of course, I also like to take a dance class and start Saturday with the festival breakfast, it's a tradition. Enjoy the weekend!
