Field Band Foundation visits

These days you can experience the South African band Field Band Foundation, which is visiting the fjord county, under the auspices of the Peace Corps, which has just moved its offices to Førde . 

The Field Band brass band will parade through the streets both in Førde , Florø and Høyanger, and during the festival they will appear both in the city center on Wednesday, July 4, and at Førdehuset in connection with the opening concert on Thursday, July 5th.

JULY 3 - FIRST

2:00 PM Parade through Førde to the Town Hall Square, with local musicians/dancers.

15.00 Performance at Rådhusplassen, with local musicians/dancers

JULY 4TH - FIRST

12.00 - 12.30 Performance outside Elvetorget

JULY 4 - FLORØ

18.00 Performance at the City Gate, with local musicians/dancers

19.00 Procession through Florø to Haavebua, with local musicians/dancers

JULY 5 – HØYANGER

11.00 Procession in Høyanger from the quay to Bytorget via Høyanger hospital, with local musicians/dancers
