Raw, danceable and fun music from Hedmarken
The group Bjørnblakken was formed when Ole Nilssen and Bjørn Kåre Odde wanted to expand their duo in connection with their performance at the National Festival in 2019. The result was a huge success, and the new establishment also won the prestigious victory in its class. This also secured them a dance performance at Førdefestivalen in 2020. That festival didn't come to fruition, so now we welcome Bjørnblakken to this year's festival.
The musicians in Bjørnblakken are all highly sought-after round dance musicians from the Inland and Trøndelag regions, and their main repertoire is the elegant country music from Hedmark. - This is danceable, this is raw, and this is extraordinarily fun, say the five musicians.
At the time of writing, there is little indication that there will be a chance to swing on the dance floor this summer, but there will be a concert - with the best old-fashioned dance music you can imagine.
