Uncompromising quelling with dancing as the goal

The three singers who have now joined forces in Hekate , Malin Alander, Silje Risdal Liahagen and Synnøve Brøndbo Plassen, have all distinguished themselves on the Norwegian music scene both solo and in other constellations. With material from all over the country as a starting point, they take folk music in new directions through improvisation, powerful sounds and fierce stomping. The goal is dance! That the audience should not be able to stand still when Hekate started his uncompromising rant.

Hekate debuted at Tuvas Blodklubb on Riksscenen, the folk music club that has started the new Norwegian dance wave. Here the trio created a space for dancing, listening and cheering for folk music. Afterwards, they have been a hot topic of conversation in the community, played at several festivals and even been guests at Lindmo on Saturday night on NRK.

When they show up on Førdefestivalen They have a brand new debut album with them, and of course you will have the opportunity to both listen and dance when Hekate Get started with your dance routine!
