Make your own dove – and send a message of peace

The dove has long been a symbol of peace. In this family workshop, we invite children and adults to make their own peace doves and send out little messages of hope, friendship and peace.

Here you can choose between two creative activities – or combine them:

Carrier pigeons in clay

Shape a small dove from self-hardening clay. Write a message of peace on a small piece of paper, roll it up and place it in the dove's beak – like a little carrier pigeon carrying a greeting.

Flying doves of peace made of paper

Write a wish, a thought or a message of peace on a piece of paper. Fold the paper into an origami dove – which can fly, like a small paper airplane. Maybe she can try her wings from the stairs inside the museum or from the roof terrace?
