Fliflet/Hamre 30 years - with Bjørn Tomrsen

  • Larris Scene 2 Storehagen Førde , Vestland, 6800 Norway (map)

This spring, the two friends Gabriel Fliflet and Ole Hamre have been spreading their musical surprise packages across land and sea for 30 years. With accordions, drums, songs, tap and pots. Always with great curiosity and joy of playing! Both Fliflet and Hamre are happy to celebrate, and the anniversary will not pass by quietly. That is why they have invited a polka bear to the party - specifically Bjørn Tomren, known from the duo Polkabjørn & Kleine Heine, among other things. He fits perfectly into the Bergen duo's motto 'strange and popular'. Here, it's all about fun and making music! Ears will be wagging and quick glances will be exchanged.

Fliflet/Hamre's universe spans a wide range, from original interpretations to energetic melodies from the Balkans or hits by Edvard Grieg, to dance music from South Texas and surprising, low-key songs from Western Norway. With Bjørn Tomren as the star friend, this universe will expand even further. He is a versatile man, but many will probably experience unknown sides of Tomren, now that he has agreed to walk new paths together with Messrs. Fliflet/Hamre.

The motto for the concert is borrowed from John Cleese: Forward - in all directions!
