Frode Haltlis, Gjermund Larsen and Ragnhild Furebotten on VestaFolk -tour.
Ragnhild Furebotten is known to most people as a fiddle player and composer in Hekla Stålstrenga, but throughout her 19 years as a musician, it has always been important for her to do her own solo projects. She likes to think new things and find new musical constellations. Creating a distinct identity and a clear voice in the Nordic folk music landscape has been in focus. Furebotten loves the trio format, and on two of the 17 albums she plays in a trio: Endelig wals from 2007 and Klopper from 2019. Covid's inscrutable ways meant that the trio from 2007 was reunited in 2021, with Ragnhild Furebotten Frode Haltli and Gjermund Larsen. They mainly have repertoire from both trio albums with them. Music composed by Ragnhild Furebotten.
