This Sunday we invite you to a crash course in Sunnfjordspringar. The dance instructor is Arild Herstad from Naustdal, and the dance course is free for everyone. After the course there will be a concert with one of our very best folk music duos, Sudan Dudan. Refreshments will be served, and with a ticket to the concert you also have access to the art exhibition on the 2nd floor.

Sudan Dudan
Sudan Dudan duo with Anders Erik Røine and Marit Karlberg, has a loyal audience in the folk music community and far beyond. They stand firmly in traditional music through song, langeleik, fiddle and mouth harp, but also find inspiration in both country, bluegrass, desert blues and hymn singing. Sudan Dudan has existed as a duo since early 2000 and is known for its stripped-down and raw sound image. Good lyrics, tight harmonies and dynamic improvisation.
“ - They've made the list, I'd say. There's no one better than them. There just isn't. ”
The duo has released four albums. The latest, Heimen der ute , followed in 2018 – and was described in Folkemusikk as follows: “There are a number of good duos in the world. The best of them create a new voice from two existing ones, and often also something quite new from established formulas. Sudan Dudan has also done that.”
