Opening Concert: Music & Language

The festival's largest concert production! Here you get to experience - and discover - seven of the festival artists before they have their own concerts!

Music and language belong together. They convey feelings, identity and belonging. Tonight we meet artists who use music to keep their language alive, and we get to experience music as a universal language, which binds us together across all borders and barriers: Kajsa Balto and Aleksander Sjølie, Trio da Kali, Ustad Noor Bakhsh, Goitse, Besh o droM, Hekate and Inger Hannisdal Ensemble. The program hosts are none other than the radio voice from Førde , Ronny Brede Aase.

Doors open at 7:15 p.m.

The concert is part of the festival pass , and takes place at our largest arena, the Sports Hall in Førdehuset . At this arena you can buy a seat ticket for NOK 50,- on the floor. The audience without a seat ticket sits in the gallery and stands.
