Minister of Culture Trine Skei Grande opens Førdefestivalen 2018

Minister of Culture Trine Skei Grande (V) has accepted the invitation to come to Førde to open on the 29th. Førdefestivalen . -We have heard the Minister of Culture state that she will have a busy festival program this summer, and we are very pleased that the minister, who is interested in culture, has taken the time to come to Førde and will be responsible for the official opening of the 29th. Førdefestivalen , says director Hilde Bjørkum. The opening of the festival will take place as usual at the opening concert, which this year is Thursday, July 5th. 

The festival starts with events on Wednesday, July 4th, with concerts in Florø, Gloppen and in Førde , but the big opening concert is as usual on Thursday evening, and NB! this year the concert starts at 8:00 PM. This year's opening concert is entitled DANCE IN MUSIC - MUSIC IN DANCE, and is led by conference host Silje Onstad Hålien.
