Festival Night: Mitsune / Las Karamba

Festival Night is the danceable, rhythmic Saturday evening at the festival. Here, you'll be rocking out with music in many time signatures from two top international bands!

This year, you'll first get MITSUNE (left) , a Japanese folk-fusion band that honors and modernizes the Japanese shamisen tradition. Haven't heard of it? It's not that hard, check out the photo (above) and the video (below), and just imagine that these are four musicians doing their thing - in their own unique way - and have taken the music world by storm! It's humorous and energetic and packed with unexpected visuals, we think you'll love it. Not to mention love it!

Then comes LET'S GO - a six-woman Latin band that mixes son, cha-cha-cha, salsa, timba with elements of rap and urban music. With roots in Venezuela, Cuba, Catalanonia, France and Argentina, they have a lot of rhythms and traditions at their core - and we feel pretty confident that they will be able to lure a music-loving festival audience out onto the dance floor. It will be a good idea to stand still when Las Karamba's music flows from the stage.

The concert is part of the festival pass , but you can of course also buy a single ticket. YOUTH discount for those under 30!
