The legendary duo Iver Kleive and Knut Reiersrud hardly need any introduction. For almost 30 years they have regularly played to packed churches and concert halls - all over Norway. Based on Norwegian folk tunes, hymns and their own compositions, Iver and Knut have added a new dimension to traditional church music.
Many remember their releases "Blå Koral" (1991), which received the Spellemannprisen, "Himmelskip" (1996) and "Nåde over Nåde" (2006) as beautiful monuments to the long-standing civilizational collision between European church music and African-American rhythm and tonality.
