Borna's World Days Førde - information

Popular Raymond Sereba is coming Førde with its African rhythm workshop. Party and fun!

Borna's World Days Førde takes place on Saturday, November 17th from 11:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. in Førdehuset . Here is some information - and information on where you can find more information ;-)

Parking - remember to use the Exhibition Space, that's where the best space is.

Colorful Førde - remember to bring cash if you want to buy food from the many stalls offering tasty dishes from many corners of the world.

Opening - the official opening will take place at 11:30 in the Festsalen. This year, it will be Mayor Olve Grotle who will open the event. And with him are excited children from four kindergartens in Førde who have practiced songs they will perform in the great world choir.

The workshops open at 12:00 - and run until 16:00.

The workshops are free, and each workshop lasts 20 minutes. They run a couple of times an hour, and you are allowed to join the same workshop multiple times. There is no registration , you just have to wait outside each workshop, where a clock shows when the next workshop starts. The workshops are nicely decorated, so you will get a little feeling of being in an exotic country, for example, when you are at the Peru workshop. You just HAVE to come and see!

An overview of the workshops can be found HERE - or you can download the Førdefestivalen app on your mobile phone. There you will find all the workshops and where they will be.

Special times for FAIRY TALE and GOAT JAZZ:

The fairy tale reading at the library starts at 12:45.

Goat Jazz is a 35-minute play, and is shown at 12:30 and 2:00 p.m.

FARGERIKE FØRDE - the international café, sells food in the Exhibition Hall. Remember to bring cash. Some may have Vipps, but with cash you are on the safe side!

And if you have any questions, just come to the information desk at the main entrance. Førdehuset , then we will try to help you!
