Linda Gytri Trio to Florø and Sogndal in March
Linda Gytri Trio released their album Audire at the end of February, and both the press and the audience have welcomed it with open arms. Linda Gytri from Oldedalen proves to be a source of beautiful and evocative melodies, and with piano legend Timo Alakotila (JPP, Nordic Tree, Maria Kalaniemi Ensemble) and superb bassist Anders Bitustøyl (Sigrid Moldestad Band, Morten Abel Band) on the team, she has created a goodie bag for music lovers.

Hilde Bjørkum - new leader of Norwegian Festivals
At the annual conference for Norwegian Festivals, which took place in Molde on February 12-13, the director of Førdefestivalen , Hilde Bjørkum, elected as new leader. Hilde Bjørkum has been deputy leader of the board in the last period, but now takes over the leadership position from Svein Eriksen.
Collaboration with Førde cultural school
Førdefestivalen has over the years had a close and good collaboration with Førde cultural school about instruments and equipment. Every year the festival has a job of providing some instruments for the musicians who will play.
